We designed an interactive, educational retail experience and check-in center for the Baha Mar Resort’s animal interaction programs. In collaboration with local conservation scientists, we created six interactive set pieces that share messages about conservation of indigiouns wildlife. New media and eco-friendly retail products accompany live animal displays within this unique retailtainment space.

We needed to develop a space that maintained authenticity to local cultural references, met the high quality standards of the Baha Mar Resort, and could serve dual purposes: communicate conservation messaging and drive revenue. Working with the resort’s conservation scientists, we uncovered the importance of coral reef health, conch, flamingos and stingrays—and made these central to our storytelling.

Follow the Flock: understand migration patterns of Bahamian Flamingos
Protecting Sea Turtles: learning the importance of protecting sea turtles
Listen to the Sea: realizing the role of conch within the habitat
Life on the Reef: gamified experience messaging the importance of coral reef health
We also produced new media, sourced eco-friendly retail products, and designed educational graphics to accompany live animal displays at the resort. 100% of the retail operation’s proceeds benefit the Baha Mar Foundation.
