B Morrow Productions (BMP), an award-winning design and production firm, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Melissa Oviedo (Ruminot) to the role of Chief Business Officer effective January 1, 2024. This newly created position is in response to BMP’s rapid expansion plans fueled by the past few years of incredible growth.
As Chief Business Officer, Oviedo will be responsible for overseeing the overall business operations and growth plans at BMP. Her primary focus will be on fostering strategic partnerships, expanding the company’s client base, and driving growth initiatives to support the rapid growth of the organization. Oviedo’s exceptional track record and deep understanding of the industry make her the ideal candidate to lead B Morrow Productions into its next phase of development.

For close to twelve years, Oviedo has served as Vice President of Marketing and Global Development at Nassal, the renowned award-winning scenic and rockwork fabricator. Oviedo has played a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth and success in a wide variety of markets including theme parks, zoos, aquariums, cultural, live events, and location-based entertainment.
Oviedo currently serves as the Themed Entertainment Association’s (TEA) President of the International Board through December 31, 2024. BMP fully supports her in this role, and she will continue to serve the TEA Membership and industry at large.
Both Nassal and B Morrow Productions are confident that this transition will further strengthen their collaborative efforts and enhance their ability to deliver unparalleled experiences to clients. This transition will take place over the next four weeks, culminating in Oviedo’s official start date at BMP on January 1, 2024.
